Hi, I hope to learn how to use my new found skills (hopefully) to communicate with other staff and to be able to share information across our new larger council. I believe in our positions we are all lifetime learners as each new day brings new learning opportunities. The youth of today are ensuring that we keep up to date with new technology - whether we like it or not. We can no longer bury our head in the sand.
Blogs would be useful inside the library to promote library events e.g. upcoming author talks, school holiday activities etc. We could also list new resources as they become available. Patrons could comment on our services provided and offer suggestions.
Here's hoping we can use our new skills across the library service -
